- Larson was involved in a wreck on Lap 315 involving four other cars that resulted in an early exit from the race for the No. 42 team
- After fighting handling issues for much of the first half of the race, Larson was solidly racing in the top-10 before the wreck knocked him out of the race

- The lead changed 30 times among 11 drivers
Kyle Larson, No. 42 Credit One Bank Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 – “I just got in there and lost grip and slid up into Clint (Bowyer). I got stuck in the middle and then just put myself in a bad spot and got sideways. It was an up and down day for us, fighting the balance on the car a lot during the first two stages. The car seemed to handle better a little on the tight side, so once we got the right adjustments made in the third stage, we seemed to be able to race inside the top-10 somewhat consistently. Just before the wreck, I had finally put the Credit One Bank Chevy in a good spot for about a lap and then messed that up. So, that was all me. I hate it for the work everyone put in all race long, but we’ll go to Pocono next week and try to be better.”
MENCS teams will head to Pocono Raceway next week for the Pocono 400 on Sunday, Jun 2. FOX Sports 1, MRN affiliates and SiriusXM NASCAR Channel 90 will have live coverage beginning at 2:00pm ET.
