Armenian deputy premier chairs Eurasian Economic Commission meeting in Nursultan
The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) met in Nursultan, Kazakhstan on Tuesday under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan who chaired the regular meeting.
The participants from the member states discussed a wide range of regulations dealing with transactions of precious metals and stones across Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Also the ongoing negotiations over the Singapore Free Trade Zone Agreement were considered in details.
Acording to a press release by the Government, the discussion focused, among other things, also on the labelling of goods, as well as fight against money laundering and funding of terrorism. The sides considered further the normative system of information exchange among the member countries’ governments. The possible decrease of customs duties for third country imports was also on the meeting agenda.
