U.S. balks as Venezuela heads up UN-backed disarmament body

Shortly after Venezuelan Ambassador Jorge Valero became president of the Conference on Disarmament, the U.S. ambassador to the UN’s main disarmament body walked out of its current session in Geneva in protest.
