Three arrested after moped gang raid luxury watch shop in ‘smash and grab’
Three men have been arrested over an armed raid on a luxury watch shop this morning.
The incident took place at the Hour House on Duke Street, Marylebone.
Made in Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews had to hide in the shop’s vault as the gang carried out the robbery.
He said a gang drove through a window before ‘battering the shop with big huge hammers’.
Footage captured at the scene shows a number of men brandishing machetes and making a getaway on mopeds.
Another video of the aftermath shows a smashed window at the front of the store, with a police cordon in place.
Met police said a number of males armed with weapons are reported to have driven to the premises on mopeds and smashed a window before stealing goods and fleeing.

‘A member of the public, aged in his 30s, was treated for a minor injury; this has been assessed as non life threatening or life-changing.’
