EastEnders’ toyboy Keanu gets soap veteran Sharon Mitchell pregnant in most bizarre soap storyline ever

PHIL MITCHELL must be one of soapland’s angriest characters ever, and he’s about to get even more wound up.

I’m told that his wife Sharon, played by soap royalty LETITIA DEAN, will discover she’s pregnant aged 48 — and it’s not his.

In fact, it’s looking like the baby will be Keanu Taylor’s after romping with the toyboy lover last week.

And to make matters worse, or better for Enders’ scriptwriters, Keanu is already expecting another child… with Phil’s daughter Louise.

A soap source said: “EastEnders are putting Phil and Sharon back at the heart of the show.

“In a shock twist next month Sharon discovers she’s pregnant.

It sounds like when Sharon comes clean to her husband, Phil, that he might not be expecting another child, he loses it[/caption]

“But there’s gonna be a ‘who’s the daddy?’ dilemma cos she romped with her toyboy lover Keanu last week so is he the dad or is Phil?

“Having discovered she’s pregnant Phil excitedly tells everyone their news, much to Sharon’s horror as she doesn’t know for sure who the dad is.”

I’m told that new Enders boss KATE OATES, who previously ran the show on Coronation Street and Emmerdale, is keen to put veteran stars Phil, played by STEVE MCFADDEN, and Sharon at the heart of the soap again.

And it sounds like when Sharon comes clean that he might not be expecting another child, he loses it.

My source added: “Phil will go on a bloody rampage when he learns the truth, especially as Keanu has also got Phil’s daughter Louise pregnant. The randy lothario has knocked up Phil’s wife and his daughter!

“It will also raise the question of Sharon having a pregnancy so late in life and the complications that come with that.

“Kate wants Phil and Sharon to be at the heart of the show over the summer and this is just the start as chaos unfolds.”

Phil going on rampages because of a sordid love triangle? It sounds like Eastenders of old.
