Bike Taxi business idea

Many rail trails and similar car-free routes are unfortunately marred by gaps before they resume again, and sometimes the roads in between are not great.

Others have have occasional access to operating commuter rail lines, but may have long stretches where they are out of easy reach from them, which limits ride planning and especially exits if something goes wrong with the rider or bike.

There have been a few notoriously ill-received proposals to permit advertising signs on trails in return for sponsorship, and it's great those haven't happened in general. But one specific thing would be nice: allowing taxi companies able and willing to transport a cyclist to be listed on signs at key endpoints.

Or what would it take to get uber/lift to include "bike transport" as a checkbox in a ride request?
