Le Pen ally says ‘union of sovereignists’ could become 2nd largest group in EU Parliament

FAR-RIGHT lawmaker Louis Aliot has called for a powerful “union of sovereignists” after his Rassemblement national party rode a wave of nationalist sentiment to win the most votes in France’s election to the European Parliament on Sunday.
