Stavros Flatley make surprise return to Britain’s Got Talent semi-final – sending viewers wild
STAVROS Flatley made a surprise return to Britain’s Got Talent on tonight’s semi-final – sending viewers wild.
The British-Greek Cypriot father-son dance duo first rose to fame during the third series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009.
And tonight, they featured as part of magic group 4MG’s performance for the judges.
The magicians performed a mind reading trick where the duo’s name came up.
At the end, it was revealed the words the judges had been thinking of spelled out Stavros Flatley, before the pair burst through the locker doors at the back of the stage.
Dressed in their typical stage costume of black trousers and blonde wigs, Demetrios and his son Michalakis ‘Lagi’ Andreas whipped them off and chucked them at the judges as the audience cheered.
Viewers at home were equally delighted to see the act – which finished in fourth place behind winners Diversity – and took to Twitter to comment.
One wrote: “Best bit of tonight’s #bgt was seeing Stavros Flatley!”
Another added: “They actually got stavros flatley in thier act. Brilliant”.
A third tweeted: “Oh my god!! 4MG actually smashed that! Best magic act so far! And loved the inclusion of Stavros Flatley! So clever.”

It was enough to get 4MG through to the final on Sunday, with the four-piece receiving the most votes from the public.
The boys jumped around as their name was called by hosts Ant and Dec.
They were joined in the final by Siobhan Phillips, who was chosen by the judges over Matt Stirling.
