1986 G30 Van

I just replaced the parking lights on my van....the five on top were not working. So I got three of them done and everything was fine. When I wired up the 4th I started blowing tail light fuses. The parking lamps continuity but the tail light fuse is pulling 12.4 volts. What is that 20 AMP fuse supposed to pull ? I need some help here.
