Alberta pauses COVID-19 vaccine appointments for 1st injection as doses run low

After Pfizer indicated last week it’s cutting back on COVID-19 vaccine deliveries due to production changes, Alberta is pausing appointments for people to get their first dose. As Fletcher Kent explains, Premier Jason Kenney said the province will run out of supply for first doses by the end of Monday or early Tuesday.

Czech Hospitals Attacked By Hackers

Cyber hackers are attacking Czech hospitals with out of date security systems, encrypting their data and then demanding ransoms from the hospitals. The most recent incident is being reported by Irozhlas. According to cybersecurity experts from Check Point, not all details of the attack are known yet but they have detected ransomware that may be used for some sort of extortion. “At the end of last week, one medical facility was compromised.
