The State of California is suing Activision Blizzard after a two-year investigation into the company has revealed an alleged culture of sexual harassment, discrimination, unequal pay, and more disturbing allegations besides. The lawsuit, filed by the State's Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), alleges the company has a "frat boy" culture that has created "a breeding ground for harassment and discrimination against women". Activision Blizzard have staunchly denied these claims.

Energy remains most heavily represented in capex survey – S&P

Companies across the globe are ramping up their spending, with global ratings agency S&P Global Ratings forecasting corporate capital expenditure (capex) will rise 13% this year. According to the ‘Global Corporate Capex Survey 2021: Surge Investing’ report, global capex from nonfinancial companies fell to $3.3-trillion in 2020 from $3.5-trillion in 2019, and it is set to rebound to $3.7-trillion this year.

Safety authority: Saaremaa ferry incident the result of technical issue
