Photopsia is a photic phenomenon that can be associated with intraocular lenses after cataract surgery. To calculate the relative light intensity of photic effects observed after cataract surgery at the foveal region as the most sensitive region of the retina, photopsia was simulated using the ZEMAX optical design software.
