Dilapidated Vittoriosa site turned into a playground

A dilapidated area in Vittoriosa has been transformed into a playground through a €115,000 investment. The playground, inaugurated on Friday morning on St Edward Street, is nestled between two sections of the city's recently restored bastions. Hiiumaa authorities want Latvia-Finland electricity connection, via island

The local government on the island of Hiiumaa has proposed a pan-Baltic electricity connection which would connect Latvia with Finland, via Estonia, with the latter section running across Hiiumaa. The proposal would help solve issues the islanders have with current electricity grid, which the municipality says is antiquated,.
