In connection to a shooting in Dallas’ Koreatown, a Texas man was charged and indicted for alleged hate crimes against Asian Americans, Dallas County Criminal District Attorney John Creuzot announced Tuesday. According to Creuzot, a Dallas County grand jury issued seven counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with a hate crime enhancement against 37-year-old Jeremy Smith.
