November 19 – In what was probably the most remarkable, unhinged and illogical rant ever made by a leading sports administrator, the kind of nonsense straight out of the Donald Trump play book, FIFA president Gianni Infantino embarqed on an almost-hour-long justification of the Qatar 2022 World Cup and chastisement of the western world.

Red Bull F1 team boss says Ricciardo is not replacing Perez

Nov.20 - Christian Horner has joined fellow top Red Bull official Dr Helmut Marko in ruling out Daniel Ricciardo taking over from Sergio Perez next year. Although the news is not yet official, Marko let the cat out of the bag in Abu Dhabi by revealing that Australian Ricciardo, 33, will return to the energy.....check out full post »



F1 drivers to get medals for race wins

Formula One race winners will receive a medal in addition to a trophy from Sunday's season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix onwards, the governing FIA said. Each FIA medal will have the number of the race on it, with Sunday's at Yas Marina the 1,079th since the championship started in 1950.

France faces high risk of power grid strain in January: operator
