Berhampur is a city in southern India, and a live wire trap laid to kill wild animals ended up electrocuting a suspected poacher near Bada Chadheyapada village under Ganjam district's Kabisurya Nagar police station limits on Monday. The deceased was identified as Ratan Kishore Bisoi, 40 of Paika Jamuna village. Police recovered the body and sent it for postmortem. They also recovered live wires from the spot. Police suspect Bisoi may have gotten in touch with the live wire and died. No one has been arrested in this connection so far.
