A Ludhiana student, Deepak, was selected for the Prime Minister's Pariksha Pe Charcha' (PMPC) event in New Delhi. However, Deepak claims that he missed the event because of a fault on the part of the Punjab State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT). Deepak was one of two students from Ludhiana to be selected for the event. The PMPC event was also broadcast live online and on television. 10 monkeys found dead in Auraiya police stn premises

IOCL asks CNG firms to stop supply to 35 pumps

(IOCL) has asked the Gujarat CNG Distribution Companies (GCNDCs) to discontinue CNG supply to 35 petrol pumps in the state whose monthly sale of petrol and diesel is less than 1 lakh liters. The Iocl has asked the dealers to furnish a bank guarantee for sale of CNG in view of the development. The Federation of Gujarat Petroleum Dealers' Association (FGPDA) has threatened to stop selling CNG at 600 pumps across Gujarat from mid-February if the issue is not resolved.

Two cops suspended for ‘misbehaving’ with minor boy
