Congress slams LPG price hike; declares stir against 'crony capitalism'
The price of cooking gas was hiked by ₹50 per cylinder, the first increase in eight months, days after polling in Meghalaya and Nagaland ended. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge alleged the price of LPG cylinder has been raised by ₹50 and commercial gas by ₹350 during high inflation. "The public asks how to make Holi dishes now. How long will the order of loot continue?" he said in a tweet.
