U.S. stock opened lower on Friday after the latest wholesale inflation report came in hotter than anticipated, reviving concerns that the Federal Reserve may still have to raise interest rates further to bring down inflation. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA dropped 72 points, or 0.2%, to 35,104, while the S&P 500 SPX lost 0.5% and the Nasdaq Composite COMP was off 0.8%.
