Brazilian star Neymar is reportedly seeking a return to La Liga giants Barcelona this summer.

According to sportskeeda.com citing reports in Spanish media, Neymar is set for a reunion, with Barcelona chiefs still considering the benefits of re-signing Neymar this summer.

At the last count, RAC1 claimed recently that Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are holding talks over Neymar’s possible to La Liga, with Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele likely to be part of the deal.

During the just-concluded 2018-19 campaign Neymar struggled to contribute to PSG’s fortune in the Champions League.

And has always be found wanting since his unceremonious exit from Barcelona in the summer of 2017.

However, the 27-year-old winger has managed to win two straight Ligue 1 titles for PSG, but has not made the desired breakthrough in the Champions League.

On the other hand, Neymar has been slammed repeatedly football pundits alongside the French media, courtesy of his extra-curricular activities.

Brazil legend Rivaldo has equally joined forces pushing for his compatriot’s return to the La Liga after he stressed that Neymar still ‘regrets’ dumping Barcelona for PSG.

Meanwhile, Diario SPORT, hinted that Barcelona board have not opened official negotiation with PSG.

However, the option to re-sign Neymar has been analyzed, with various it’s advantages and disadvantages.

But it remains to be seen if Neymar will return to the La Liga next season.

Barcelona will tackle Chelsea in a pre-season friendly on July 23.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Paris-Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has reportedly demanded massive sum of £1.2m a week to join Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer.

Real Madrid are considering signing the Brazil international in their quest to build a strong team for their campaign next season in all competitions.

Neymar currently earns around £622,000 a week at Paris Saint-Germain where he moved for a world record £198 million in 2017 from Barcelona.

And according to the report by AS, Los Blancos' chiefs will have to meet his demand so as to have the chance of luring him back to Spain.
