Ford US vehicle sales neared two million in 2023

NAIJ.COM (Nigeria News) 

Auto giant Ford sold almost two million vehicles in the United States last year, the company said Thursday, buoyed by accelerating electric vehicle sales and continued growth in internal combustion engine trucks. Of the almost two million cars Ford sold in 2023, close to 1.8 million of them were internal combustion engine vehicles, company figures showed.

VIL to seek reversal of Rs 10.7 crore penalty order received under CGST Act

Vodafone Idea has received an order under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, imposing a penalty of Rs 10.76 crore. The company, which is in disagreement with the order, plans to seek rectification and reversal of the penalty, citing the "alleged wrong transition of CENVAT credit into GST regime."
