Ford shares drop after workers at largest truck plant threaten strike

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky: Ford Motor Co. is bracing for a strike of 9,000 workers scheduled to begin on February 23 at its largest truck plant in Kentucky.

Ford stock fell 1.2 percent on news of a possible strike.

At issue are local contract issues, which are separate from the agreements signed between workers and Ford last year, which provided record wage hikes to 150,000 auto workers at Ford, General Motors
