Poll-related seizures in Karnataka cross Rs 300 cr mark since model code came into effect
Seizures related to elections in Karnataka have surpassed Rs 300 crore since the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct on March 16, as reported by the Election Commission. With the Lok Sabha elections scheduled in two phases on April 26 and May 7 for the state's 28 constituencies, the Election Commission, along with enforcement teams comprising flying squads, police, and static surveillance teams, has made seizures totaling Rs 307.61 crore.
