UNDP welcomes Japan aid for boosting Iran wetlands management

TEHRAN, Dec. 02 (MNA) – The UNDP in Tehran welcomed the contribution of JPY 690,000,000 from the Government of Japan to enhance wetland management and strengthen climate resilience in Lake Urmia, Shadegan, Parishan and Anzali wetlands.

The company revealed that it has secured 11% stake in supply chain finance firm Mintifi for approximately $80 million. It also acquired 8.4% stake in the housing finance company Vastu Finance for $100 million. These deals follow its investment in Bluestone as part of a Rs 900-crore funding round.

Georgian opposition leader arrested after another night of pro-EU demonstrations

Georgian police arrested prominent opposition leader Zurab Japaridze early Monday after using water cannon and tear gas to scatter anti-government protesters who rallied outside parliament for the fourth straight night. The country's interior ministry said 21 police officers were injured during a crackdown on demonstrations.
