Madrid authorities prepare for influx of more than 40,000 ticketless Liverpool and Spurs fans

May 30 – After a protracted three-week build up, Liverpool and Tottenham will provide the grand finale of the European club season on Saturday in the Spanish capital with an army of British fans invading the city ahead of the Champions League final.
Spanish authorities have mounted a large security operation as Madrid prepares for a huge influx of Liverpool and Tottenham supporters. It is estimated that more than 70,000 fans will make their way to the Spanish capital for the showpiece match,
