RUTH Langsford shows off her painful injury after she fell at Epsom Races on Saturday.
The This Morning presenter was left red faced when she took a tumble as she left the annual Derby Day at Epsom race course with her husband Eamonn H0lmes yesterday, but she has insisted she wasn’t drunk.
The 59-year-old presenter detailed the aftermath on social media as she shared a photograph of her sore and grazed knees on Instagram.
She captioned the post: “So….wonderful day at the Derby @epsomdownsracecourse until I fell over on my way out! Ouch!”
She quipped: “Before you ask…I WASN’T drunk!! #fallingover #embarrassing.”
The nation’s sweetheart slipped into an elegant floral embroiders, sky-blue Michael Kors dress for the occasion.
She paired the outfit with a pair of metallic Jimmy shoes heels, a pale blue Marks and Spencer bag and fascinator.
Ruth was flooded with well wishes from her concerned fans.
One fan commented: ” ouch!!!! Oh my goodness hope you’re okay.”
Another wrote: “That looks really painful.”
A third wrote: “Ouch…feet up tomorrow for you…take care…hope you ok…xx”

Earlier in the day Ruth – who has son Jack with Eamonn – posted a picture of her with her husband before the accident.
She captioned the separate post: “Wonderful day out at the Derby @epsomdownsracecourse …. think @eamonnholmes & I scrub up alright don’t we?!!”
