Ex-Hollyoaks actress Jazmine Franks shows off her dramatic fitness transformation after losing a stone
JAZMINE Franks shows off her incredible fitness transformation after losing one stone in weight.
The former Hollyoaks actress – who portrayed Esther Bloom in the longstanding soap – has undergone a major makeover following her departure from the programme last year.
Jazmine has revealed she decided to change her lifestyle for the better after she saw a photograph of her eating pizza.
In one Instagram post, which captures her before and after her weight loss, she wrote: “Here’s 6 months and a 8kg difference between these pictures so it’s been a very slow process but I wanted to make sure I still had a social life.”
But the star has insisted her time away from filming has given her the “freedom” to focus on her and her healthier lifestyle.
She continued: “I still enjoy desserts and I still enjoy a gin. Having time on my side has played a massive part, leaving Hollyoaks gave me the freedom to focus on me.”
The post continued: “I’m not saying I don’t want to work again HA I’m definitely ready for a new adventure but having the time where I’m my main priority has made me realise exactly what I want from life and who I want in it!
“I feel really good at the moment, I’ve learnt to say no. To the food I don’t actually need to eat, to the events I don’t actually want to go to and to the things I don’t actually want to do.
“I’ve had a bit of time out and I feel wonderful for it.”
The 27-year-old frequently posts videos and photos of her new look, as well as her fitness plan on social media.
In one image Jazmine wears a pale mint cropped top and leggings while working out at Hale Country Club and Spa, which she posted on her Instagram account, gave fans a closer look at her toned abs.
She captioned the post “Don’t mind me girls, just taking a selfie.”
The star also shared a video of her practising her dead lifts in the gym earlier this year.
The upload read: “Yes to it being deload week, YES to training in the unit and yes to my quads finally joining the party.”
Jazmine has insisted she had an “unhealthy relationship” with food.

Speaking previously to the Manchester Evening News about her diet plan, she said: “I ate what I wanted and was kind of blasé about what I put into my body. Now I feel so much happier and more positive.
“When I was working at Hollyoaks there were biscuits on the set and I was eating in the canteen where they had pie and chips.
“I prepare all my own meals now.”
