Ukraine ups gas production 3.6 percent in four months

Natural gas production in Ukraine grew 3.6 percent year-on-year in January-April to 7.022 billion cubic meters, the Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine.

Naftogaz group enterprises raised gas output 3.2 percent to 5.27 bcm: Ukrgazvydobuvannia produced 5.527 bcm of gas, up 2.7 percent, Ukrnafta produced 382.9 million cubic meters, up 11.2 percent, and Chornomornaftogaz produced 4.1 mcm, down 15.6 percent.

Other producers boosted gas output by 5.1 percent to 1.495 bcm in 4M. The biggest of them were Naftogazvydobuvannia (540.41 mcm), Ukrnaftoburinnia (233.18 mcm) and ESKO-Pivnich (200.706 mcm).

KUB-Gas LLC produced 49.295 mcm, up 6.1 percent, and Regal Petroleum LLC produced 48.145 mcm, up 46.7 percent.
