Almost 50 bullets fired in Pleasant Hill hotel parking lot shooting

PLEASANT HILL — Almost 50 bullets were fired in a hotel parking lot early Sunday, including one into an occupied room, police said.

No one was hurt in the shooting around 1 a.m. at the Residence Inn at 700 Ellinwood Way, police said. Officers sent to the hotel found a “large number of people leaving the area,” police said in a statement.

One bullet was fired into an occupied room at the hotel, and multiple cars in the parking lot were hit, police said.
