Vicky Pattison’s emotional tribute to best friend Paul Burns on first anniversary of his death

VICKY Pattison has paid an emotional tribute to her best friend Paul Burns on the first anniversary of his death.

The Geordie Shore veteran went on Instagram to share her memories of her dear friend.

Vicky, 31 , remembered her friend Paul who died suddenly aged 37, after celebrating a birthday with Vicky.

She said: “There’s nothing I can write or say that will do you justice. I want you to know that my life hasn’t been the same.

“That I’ve missed you everyday and that I’ve thought about you often.

“That we talk about you all the time. That we still cry. Not always sad tears- sometimes happy ones- at our memories of you.”

She added: “We toast to you every time we go out- and then always tell our favourite Paul stories. We all have different ones.

“But there’s always a theme- you were the best person we knew and we consider it a privilege to have called you a friend.
“Paul Burns, you were too good for us and too good for this world.

“I’ll always love you.”

Paul died on June 2, 2018.

It is unclear how he died, only that he was found dead in Newcastle just hours after celebrating a birthday with his best friend Vicky Pattison.

The former Geordie Shore star was left grief-stricken by his loss and shared a heartbreaking tribute to him online two days after his death.

She wrote: “I don’t know what to post. I don’t know what to say. But this seemed fitting.

“@mrpaulburns1 you are my best friend, my oldest friend and one of the most amazing people in the world.

His funeral was on June 15, 2018 and was attended by many reality stars including Vicky, Marnie Simpson and Charlotte Crosby.
