BBS McGergor (ISH) by Cardento (ISH)(TIH) bred and owned by by Marguerite Ryan, and ridden by son, Jack Ryan, jumped double clear in a time of 38.54 seconds to win the 7-year-old final of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series at Mullingar Equestrian today (Sunday). BBS McGregor, was one of only twelve double clears in the 7-year-old class. Ryan beat off stiff competition from the 25 combinations who made it through to the final. In the 5-year-old final, ten combinations jumped double clear to split the win, while in the 6-year-olds, there were ten clear rounds. There was €9,500 on offer in Mullingar Equestrian Centre from the Irish Sport Horse Studbook for these young horse classes. The next leg takes place in Galway County on June 15th and 16th.
