Britain’s Got Talent magician Jonathan Goodwin left naked and chained up in front of his family after trick goes wrong – in resurfaced TV show
BRITAIN’S Got Talent finalist Jonathan Goodwin has impressed viewers with his extraordinary tricks – but they didn’t always go to plan and once left him chained up and naked in front of his entire family.
The magician – who is competing in tonight’s grande final for the £250k prize – once starred in his own Channel 4 show The Seven Stupidest Things to Escape From.
In one resurfaced clip, Jonathan decided to be voluntarily chained naked to a trolley in a lift – and asked his own dad to help him.
He also added a ballgag mask to add to the potential humiliation in the bizarre scenes.
Jonathan was taken to the 11th floor and left chained up alone in the lift with his clothes, with just 35 seconds to free himself and get dressed before it reached the ground floor.
But to add to the danger for him, he invited his parents, extended family, girlfriend and her parents to come and witness the victorious end to his trick.
Only he was left struggling during the trick and he failed to free himself, leaving him completely exposed and his family horrified.
Jonathan hadn’t actually pre-warned his family of what they might see and instead they thought they were waiting for the lift to take them to him.
And they were suitably horrified by what they had seen when he did arrive.
His auntie Elaine told the camera: “I was not impressed, it’s not the sort of thing grown up men should do.

“He should keep himself covered.”
Let’s hope he doesn’t try to repeat the trick for tonight’s final.
