After the referee had awarded the penalty in the first minute, which was definitly not a penalty, the ball hit Sisoko's shoulder and as he was trying to move his arm away the ball hit him where the referee decided it was a penalty. All Liverpool had to do was shut up shop and just stop Tottenham's attacks with a blanket defence which they are very good at. So the referee destroyed what could have been a very competitive game.
