WTO members reached consensus on adopting a new decision on the modalities and operation of the Integrated Database (IDB), the main source of tariff and import data at the WTO. The decision, adopted at the formal meeting of the Market Access Committee held on 28 May, will help members to simplify how these data are collected and to improve on the previous procedures adopted in 1997. Members also discussed a large number of trade concerns.
