What will happen on Big Little Lies season 2?
Warning: contains spoilers from season one.
The show ended an almighty cliffhanger with Bonnie pushing Perry down the stairs, killing him in the process, after he was aggressive to his wife Celeste.
Season one wrapped up the story from the novel on which it is based, but the story will expand beyond it in series two.
The second offering will reportedly go darker and deeper.
HBO said of the plot: “The subversive, darkly comedic drama Big Little Lies will explore the malignancy of lies, the durability of friendships, the fragility of marriage and, of course, the vicious ferocity of sound parenting. Relationships will fray, loyalties will erode … the potential for emotional and bodily injury shall loom.”
