The silver lining in Tottenham’s Champions League final loss to Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur endured heartbreak at the weekend as they lost 2-0 to Liverpool in their first ever Champions League final.

The loss was even harder to swallow for Spurs fans after they watched their team dominate the possession, shots, and shots on target stats through the final.

However, Tottenham were unable to convert time on the ball into chances in front of goal, and eventually succumbed to a second place finish.

No trophy, less prize money, no name in the history books, there are few positives to take from a loss in the final of club football’s biggest competition.
