Syrian, Russian Warplanes Carried Out More Than 1,000 Airstrikes On Greater Idlib In Last 24 Hours (Video)
Syrian and Russian warplanes carried out more than 1,000 airstrikes on the governorate of Idlib and its surroundings on May 5, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).
The London-based monitoring group said that the Syrian and Russian airstrikes targeted at least 19 towns and villages in greater Idlib.
Step News, a pro-opposition outlet based in Idlib, released a new video showing a Su-24M2 and a Su-34 of the Russian Aerospace Forces, as well as an L-39 of the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) flying over greater Idlib.
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed its ground operation in northwestern Hama two days ago and captured four towns north and west of the town of Kafr Nabudah.
These intense airstrikes indicate that the SAA and its allies are planning to continue their ground operations in the upcoming few days.
