Meet the 7 new Pokemon unveiled in the new Sword and Shield game trailer
Pokemon Sword and Shield are still months away from release, but it's never too early to start planning your dream team.
Nintendo released a trailer for the forthcoming Switch game on Wednesday, stressing that the biggest development is Dyanmax: Giant hologram versions of Pokemon that duke it out in stadium battles. But far more important are the new Pokemon the trailer revealed, including the legendary Zacian and Zamazenta, which take "sword and shield" quite literally.

Wednesday also marked the addition of the more common Corviknights: Giant and intimidating hawk-like Pokemon that serve as taxis and are surely going to disrupt Uber's reign. Also new is the turtle-esque Drednaw, who seemingly just chomps on stuff.
Gossifleur, meanwhile, looks like a thorny yellow and red flowerbud. It evolves into Eldegoss, which, disturbingly, has seeded cotton fluff head that Nintendo says is "highly nutritious and beneficial to both people and Pokemon." The undisputedly best addition, though, is Wooloo, which Silver and Gold stans will realize is just a spin on the old Mareep.

Wednesday wasn't their first public appearance, but Sword and Shield's starter Pokemon are also prominently featured in the trailer you can watch below.
