Baby girl dies days before her first birthday after being left in 35C car on driveway for 16 hours by parents
A BABY girl has died days before her first birthday after being left in a 35C car on a driveway for 16 hours by her parents.
Little Joseline Eichelberger was found unconscious in the parked vehicle in Missouri, local media reported.
Emergency services raced to the residence on the afternoon of June 2 but were unable to revive the little girl.
Two persons of interest are being questioned, though cops have made no arrests.
Joseline’s grandmother told Fox 2 that the girl was accidentally left in the car in Calverton Park. She said both parents thought that the other had taken Joseline out of the car.
“Nobody would intentionally do that,” Lilly Belfield, a family member, told the news station.
“If you saw her smile, laugh, giggle, you would think the same thing. Nobody would ever hurt this baby.”

Belfield added: “I feel like a piece of my heart is gone because she was a part of me.”
Speaking to KMOV, another friend, Barbara Beckett, said: “It’s a nightmare, they are traumatised. They can’t stop crying.”
In a similar case in Arizona, an 18-month-old girl was found unresponsive in a hot car on April 22, police said.
