Amber Evans’ mom explains her social media rant
COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Tonya Fischer went on Facebook Live on Thursday, June 6, hours before the autopsy report for her daughter Amber Evans was released to the public. She spoke for 20 minutes and laid out her feelings about her daughter’s disappearance, death, and the autopsy she read on June 5.
“I felt like after hearing all the hoopla from people calling in and seeing all the comments on Facebook I felt concerned, enraged, just like I was reliving it all over again,” said Fischer.
NBC4i.com sat down with Fischer to discuss why she felt the need to do a live video. In essence, she said it was to show her confusion about everything from searching for her daughter to reading social media posts about the autopsy report.
She explained in the interview what was going through her mind and that she just wants her daughter’s legacy to be positive on people and the community.
“She loved deeply–everybody, everything,” Fischer explained in the video. “Just know that Amber loved everybody, she loved every cause that she was fighting for.”
