GSOM and/On VoxMedia Strike Question
Could some of our GSOM mods and writers please reply with some information about how the voxmedia strike by vox (and eater?) writers is affecting SB Nation and the (minimally, I know) paid writers on our site? (Can this even be done on the public forum that GSOM is?) I know this is the middle of the Finals and things look dark for our team (never underestimate the heart of warriors though!), but my guess is that a fair number of visitors here also care about issues of wages and such for the people who enable us to have this platform (at least since it found its way to SB Nation from atma et al’s tender care.
How different is the situation with SB Nation being a "fan" site rather than a "content delivery" site (despite the wonderful content you all are putting it)? What mix of writers/mods/other do we have between voluntary and paid or paid as employees? Do any have this work as your primary job?
