A fire at a substation in Mountain Home, Arkansas, on Friday morning, June 7, temporarily left residents of the area without power. According to reports from KTLO and KY3, the fire, which started around 2:30 am, is believed to have been caused by a lightning strike. The incident left an estimated 7,000 customers of North Arkansas Electric Cooperative and Energy without power. Power was restored to a section of these residents by 5:40 am.
