In a speech to the G-2 Conference at the WTO on 8 June, Deputy Director-General Alan Wolff said that the stronger the WTO is as an institution, the more likely it can play a positive role in providing a response to trade conflicts. WTO members, business CEOs and non-governmental organizations should broaden their effort to support the WTO in order to ensure fairness and predictability in international trade.
