Servings: Makes 2 cocktails
Ingredients
- 4 ounces bourbon
- 2 ounce lemon juice
- 2 ounce simple syrup (50/50 sugar water)
- 2 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
- 1-2 Ounces red wine or dessert wine
- lemon, for garnish
- ice cubes
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients except the wine in a cocktail shaker over ice and shake until ice cold.
- Serve on the rocks in an old-fashioned glass
- Over the back of a spoon, gently pour the wine into the cocktail so that it creates the two-tone, layering effect.
- Garnish with a lemon peel.
