First look at brand new video for Love Island track Get Likes by Nancie

SINGER Nancie’s catchy new track Get Likes features in Love Island and will be a fixture in clubs everywhere this summer.

The Sun Online can exclusively reveal the fun track’s quirky video which pokes fun at the likes of Kim Kardashian and social media culture.

Featuring bright emojis galore, selfies, fake tan and gym bodies – it’s the perfect video for any Love Island fan.

Lyrics include: “Gotta buy another Boohoo dress, Fake tan dripping down my chest, I’m a fan girl of Kayne West (I love you), Get likes for my Insta.”

The 24-year-old said of the song: “The track is a tongue-in-cheek look at that world.

“It’s fun, catchy and enjoyable and it’s planting a seed that says we don’t have to be what society or social media says you should be.

“Of course we use filters, we put photos up of us looking our best – but so many young women and men are trying to achieve these unobtainable looks by using extreme methods. I’ve been there, I’ve done it. Yet, a lot of the time the pictures we follow have been edited. They’re not real. People need to know that.”

A multi-talented songwriter, Nancie recently signed to Capitol Records, which boasts star acts such as Sam Smith and Liam Payne.

Having built up a name for herself on the live circuit including gigs at We Are FSTVL, Made, Inside Out and Beat-Herder, Nancie is determined to establish herself in the male dominated dance genre.

She said: “The DJ industry is so male-dominated and I thrive off doing things society suggests we shouldn’t do.

“That’s when my ‘show’ personality came out and I loved it.”
