Truck crashes into West Side building

A motorist struck the side of a building on the city’s West Side on Thursday and fled the scene on foot.

The incident occurred just after 1 p.m. when a driver struck a building at 2357 Sullivant Ave. and then fled on foot and was pursued by police.

Police are still searching for the suspect.

No injuries have been reported, according to police.

AEP Ohio and Columbia Gas were called to the scene as a safety precaution.
