Cold Iron is seeking an experienced Senior Animator to join us in creating a shooter set in the Alien universe for consoles and PC! Your Day to Day

You can expect to be responsible and accountable for the following:Responsibilities:

Create animations for players, creatures, and weaponsCollaborate with Character and FX artists to get the best animation resultsCollaborate with design to drive the player experience through movementHelp set and maintain the high quality bar for the gameAssist in scoping work for on time milestone deliveries

Requirements:

Portfolio of work demonstrating strong proficiency as an AnimatorPassion for playing and creating games

Self driven with strong communication skills

Ability to tackle challenges and problem solve with a strong sense of ownershipAbility to work closely with many other disciplines and be a team playerUnderstanding of animation technical work; rigging, skinning, implementationUnderstanding of core principles of animation and how they translate to gamesUnderstanding of how animation can help drive the player experienceAdvanced understanding of Maya/Max animation tools

Advanced understanding of current game art pipelines and methodologiesWould Love to See:
