Strictly star Oti Mabuse urges women to check their breasts regularly to help diagnose cancer early
SHE’s been vocal about her struggles with having 28GG boobs but Strictly star Oti Mabuse is determined to use her breasts as a force for good.
In an exclusive interview, the South African Strictly Come Dancing pro has urged women to check their breasts to help diagnose breast cancer early.

Oti said: “It’s absolutely important for people to check themselves. Breast cancer is so important, it’s so dangerous.
“For everyone, big chest or small chest – it’s really important people take care of themselves and go regularly to the doctor.
“It’s important to be aware of lumps and aware of your body – cause it’s the only one you’ll get in this lifetime.”
Oti spoke to launch Tesco’s Dance Beats to get the nation moving and help with the work of its three charity partners Cancer Research UK, the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.
And after four years on Strictly, Oti admits she’s finally learnt to accept her body.
She added: “I’m at the point in my life where I want to look at myself in the mirror and say ‘well done Oti, this is what God has given you, love it, accept it, if you want to change something, go to the gym…if you don’t, eat a burger’.
“I feel confident right now to go out and wear my costumes and say ‘hey guys’ on national TV. ‘This is me, these are real, these are mine’.”
It’s refreshing to know that even a Strictly dancer’s partial to the occasional quarter pounder.
