Ex-Leeds man claims Clarke is not worth rumoured price tag
Reports of Jack Clarke’s potential move to Tottenham have gathered speed over the past few days.
Football Insider recently revealed that Spurs had tabled a second bid for the Leeds United winger, amounting to £8million.
It is now widely expected that Clarke will become a Spurs’ player in the next few days (The Sun) which would make him Tottenham’s first signing since January 2018 when the club signed Lucas Moura from Paris Saint Germain for £23million (BBC).
In spite of this news, former Leeds United forward Noel Whelan has suggested that Leeds should accept an offer of £20million for Clarke.
