WWE star Alexa Bliss reveals Vince McMahon sack fears ahead of Stomping Grounds
WWE star Alexa Bliss has admitted she feared Vince McMahon would hate her coffee-drinking gimmick so much he’d give her the sack.
As one of the company’s top heels, the Goddess is expected to constantly act in a sneaky way that disrespects her rivals.
Bliss, real name Lexi Kauffman, was terrified WWE chairman McMahon would hate it so much that he would send her packing.
However, the billionaire CEO ended up incorporating the gimmick into the five-time women’s champion’s character.
She told TV Insider: “I knew I was going to be ringside for a particular match and look disinterested, so I just brought my coffee with me.
“It became a thing after that because I just stood ringside drinking my coffee.
“Nobody really has stood ringside drinking coffee, so I thought when I go backstage Vince would either like it or fire me.
“They ended up liking it.”

Since the ringside incident, her social media has now spawned several coffee memes and she hosts her talk show A Moment of Bliss with the heated beverage.
The Ohio-born star recently returned to in-ring action after an almost year battle with a series of concussions.
Yet Bliss has since returned to the WWE title scene and is set to square off against Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Stomping Grounds.
